Peter brings over 19 years of experience to DGSE, having practised in both the UK and New Zealand, and has been involved in a diverse spectrum of projects across New Zealand, from large-scale Civic and Commercial architecture, through to Educational and Residential design. He is practised in all facets of a project, from inception and liaising with clients, through Concept Design and into Contract Documentation and Observation.

A strong team player, Peter has the ability to take on broad, complex, and sometimes opposing, requirements to develop intelligent design solutions that meet the client’s needs. Peter is committed to providing sustainable and functional architectural design solutions that enhance local identity.

Committed to environmentally sustainable design, Peter is working on multiple commercial Greenstar & Nabers projects as well as Residential SIPS Panel housing. He has vast experience in Construction Observation and Administration of projects, working with consultants and contractors alike to provide the best possible outcome for the client. His problem-solving skills are well respected by his colleagues when faced with challenging construction and contractual situations.

In recent times, Peter has been working on mixed scale commercial regenerative developments, laboratory facilities and multi-unit housing projects for a range of private and public sector clients within the Auckland region, delivering projects that exceed client expectations.

Nationally, he has been working with several Government departments, such as the Ministry of Social Development, New Zealand Defence Force, Kāinga Ora, and the Department of Corrections, with the ability to work remotely or out of one of DGSE’s six regional offices.
